Paparazzi Policies & Procedures
Just like any business, Paparazzi has policies & procedures that we must adhere to. However, there are some policies specifically that you need to take special note of. Please read through these right away but make sure that you also read through the entire policy manual. It’s your responsibility to be knowledgeable of what these policies are.
Pricing your items
As a Consultant, you are required to sell each piece for no less than $5 each (excluding Starlet Shimmer, which is sold for $1 each). It does not state in the P&P’s that you are not allowed to charge more than $5, but it has been expressed by Paparazzi’s Compliance Department that you should NOT sell for more than $5 either. The $5 price has been proven to sell well and people have become familiar with that price point, so it would be in your best interest to sell it at that price anyway. At no time are you allowed to sell it for less.
Selling at events
Only one Paparazzi booth is allowed per show or event. It is the Consultant’s responsibility to check with the show managers or promoters to ensure that there are no other Paparazzi Consultants selling there. Always make sure that the event coordinator knows our policy and that you identify yourself as a Paparazzi Consultant when you submit your application for the event. Also, Paparazzi show booths must exclusively offer Paparazzi Accessories. Paparazzi Accessories may not be mixed with any other products or offerings within a show booth. However, you are allowed to sell in a retail setting and in that particular situation, Paparazzi can be sold alongside other products just as long as they are not MIXED & DISPLAYED with other items. Paparazzi must be clearly identified and other items should not be mixed so that people might mistake other items as being Paparazzi.
The Paparazzi logo
You may use the Paparazzi logo as long as it states “Independent Consultant” on the logo and the logo must have the ® symbol and not the ™ symbol.
Selling online
As a Consultant, we are allowed to sell on our own personal Facebook pages & groups, however we are NOT allowed to sell individually on FB sales groups like yard sale/garage sale groups. We can advertise our business, recruit for team members or post collages of product, but we cannot sell individual pieces. The best way to advertise on these pages is to post pictures of your inventory set up on your own displays and advertise for people to join your VIP group. We are also not allowed to sell on eBay, Amazon or Craigslist. Same rules apply to those sites.
Offering promotions & sales
Consultants are not allowed to offer any type of promotion or buy 1 get 1 free type of sale unless it is offered by Paparazzi. We can offer the customer loyalty card or a buy 12, get 1 free because it is approved through the company. We can also offer Hostess Rewards for 1 free item for every 10 items sold.
Offering Incentive to Join Your Team
Consultants are not allowed to offer any type of incentive to join your team. You cannot offer free pieces of jewelry to join or offer to buy their kit. The only kind of incentive we can offer is any promotions that Paparazzi offers. You can give free items to them as a gift AFTER they join, but it cannot be given as a way to entice someone to join and you cannot TELL them you will give them free pieces before joining.
Buying Jewelry from Other Consultants
As a Consultant, you are able to buy jewelry from Paparazzi at wholesale price. You are NOT allowed to purchase from other Consultants at this price. If you buy from another Consultant, you must purchase the jewelry at retail price of $5.00 as any other customer would do. There are many FB groups out there that allows consultants to buy at wholesale, but those groups are against compliance so please do not join or take part in them. Paparazzi does shut those down and you don't want to get caught in one of those groups because your Paparazzi account will be cancelled. Another reason you want to buy only from Paparazzi is because when you purchase jewelry at wholesale from your back office, you earn PV (Personal Volume). This is how you earn Life of the Party recognition! Don't put your business at risk and miss out on recognition and incentives by buying from other Consultants. Build YOUR business...not theirs!
Hostess Rewards
All Consultants are obligated to offer a 10% credit to the Hostess for the retail sales generated at their party. You may offer more than that, but not less. So basically, you can offer 1 free piece for every 10 items sold. Many Consultants also offer a free piece for hosting a party, one for each party booking, etc.
Paparazzi return policy
If you receive an item that is damaged and not reasonably repairable, you have 3 business days to contact Paparazzi to submit a return. Paparazzi offers online returns, so all you have to do is go to your back office, find the invoice for the item you are returning, snap a photo and upload it into the return form and they will email you if approved. You will then discard the damaged item. No need to send the item back to Paparazzi. Once your return is approved, they will credit your account for the item returned as well as the shipping.
Paparazzi tags & modifications
You must always leave the Paparazzi tags on your items when selling them and modifying a piece of jewelry is not allowed. If it is not fixable, you can modify it and keep it for yourself, but you cannot resell it.
Sharing income claims
You may share your personal income with potential team members, but you may not post and share estimated income claims of what you could POSSIBLY make as a Paparazzi Consultant.
Joining as a team or with a partner
You may share your Paparazzi business with a partner or as mother/daughter team, etc. However, only ONE of you will actually be registered and recognized as a Paparazzi Consultant. That person will be the one to receive correspondence, recognition, commissions, etc. Only one Consultant per household is allowed.
Use of the Paparazzi name
Consultants may not use “Paparazzi” and “Paparazzi Accessories” in any personalized or personally owned businesses, webpage addresses, e-mail address domains, or internet domain registration.
However, we allow an exception when naming a social media page and in an email address only. The words “Paparazzi” and “Paparazzi Accessories” are only allowed on social media when personalized with the Consultant’s name and not for any other uses. A Consultant is allowed to use the name "Paparazzi" or "Paparazzi Accessories" as part of the site name if those titles are combined with the Consultant's personal, individual name. An example of a compliant name would be "Jane's Paparazzi" as opposed to "$5 Paparazzi." This shows that the name "Jane's Paparazzi" clearly specifies that it is the site of an individual Consultant. However, "$5 Paparazzi" is not distinguishable from a site that may be affiliated with Corporate Paparazzi. The use of the name "Paparazzi" or "Paparazzi Accessories" is allowed if it is personalized with a Consultant's name.
You can also use Paparazzi in your email address, just not in the DOMAIN name. For example, you can do [email protected] but you can do [email protected].
In a separate, stand-alone website, (not the Consultant’s replicated Paparazzi website) the Consultant cannot use the word(s) Paparazzi or Paparazzi Accessories in the URL and the Consultant cannot use those words in the site name.

International sales
Consultants are allowed to sell within the United States at this time (including Puerto Rico and Guam). International sales are not permitted at this time.
Participating in other Direct Sales
Consultants may NOT participate in other direct selling opportunities (party planning, network marketing, and/or multilevel marketing) whose primary product line/offering competes with Paparazzi Accessories. This includes but is not limited to: Necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, lanyards, headbands, and/or hair clips. You are also not allowed to cross promote other brands, companies or products while selling Paparazzi. For example, if you are doing a live sale with your Paparazzi, you may not mention another DS company or product that you represent for the purpose of advertising that product to gain sales.
Sales Tax
You will be charged sales tax on the retail value of each piece you order. Paparazzi is required to do this. This is intended to ensure that each state tax agency is made whole on any potential sales from the transactions of that wholesale product. The sales tax is charged at the local level of the place where the order is shipped. Paparazzi collects these taxes at the time of wholesale inventory purchase and remits it to the state on behalf of the Retail Sale that the Consultant may now have.
This also allows the Paparazzi Consultant the option of charging their local taxes on their Customer transactions and recuperate that cost, or absorbing it into their business structure; while at the same time not bringing any uncovered sales tax liability on Paparazzi or the Consultant.

Changing Sponsors
You only have 3 business days to call Paparazzi @ 855-697-2727 to change sponsors, after that you cannot. Therefore, it is so IMPORTANT that you do your research, ask all the questions, and not just go with the first person you approach. Ask them who their Elite up-line is, what benefits you get if you join their team? What kind of resources can you receive? Yes, ultimately it is YOUR job to build your business, but it does help to have all the resources at your fingertips. As a Sponsor, I am here to help you along the way and I will certainly do that!
Customer Return Policy
If the customer contacts you about a missing or damaged piece they bought from the website, you need to tell them they have to go through Corporate to return the item. They have 10 business days to contact Paparazzi to obtain an RMA number. If you want to compensate for their trouble or provide additional customer service to your customer by providing a replacement from your own inventory, it's completely up to you to do that. However, it is not necessary.
